Lee Joins Team UberNote

We would like to welcome Lee to the UberNote team. Lee's strong analytical skills, detail oriented skills, bow hunting skills, and rising Guitar Hero skills are a great addition to the team.

UberNote Update 03.31.08

It has been a while since we have had a major update to UberNote. We have spent a lot of time making UberNote compatible with Safari and improving the note editor.

1. Browser Compatibilities
UberNote is now compatible with Safari 3 and Firefox 3.

2. Improved Note Editor
Many improvements to the note editor have been implemented:

• Autodetection of typed links
• Image insertion capability
• Ability to change font size, text color, and text background color

3. Expand and Collapse Individual Notes
Any or all visible notes can be expanded or collapsed. When a note is collapsed you can preview the note on mouse over.

4. Improved International Features
There is now the ability to save accented characters in addition to searching for them with or without accents.

5. Login Changes
The "Remember me" login option now allows you to keep a session open in UberNote unless you log out. You can also login by the email address you've registered with UberNote.

Recent Intermittent Session Issues

We would like to apologize for intermittent session issues experienced by some users over the past few days (2/25/08 - 2/27/08). Affected users may have seen one of the following:

1. User may not have been able to login and saw a "Invalid username/password" message.
2. User may have tried to reset their password and no email was received.
3. When logged in, user would be suddenly logged out after interacting with UberNote.

The issue did not affect any user data and all users' notes are stored safely and securely.

We are happy the issue was identified and addressed quickly by our staff. A special thank you to the UberNote users who emailed us to alert us of the problems they were seeing. It shows us how important UberNote has become to many of our users. We look forward to continuing to serve your note-taking needs.
