It Begins

Around October of 2006

Dan and Josh have been avid users of other existing Note Systems. Josh used one system at work and a totally different one at home. Dan used one at work and had another instance installed at home. Often times they would need information stored at work while at home or vice versa.

With everything being "webified" these days, they both started to get their head around developing a web app to store their notes.

Soon after it became a frenzy of ideas thrown into the platform. Mockups, proofs of concept...

Development in spare time from company things, source control, bug tracking, internal wiki, and of course the new system.
